Very unprofessional staff at check in. Crass and concerning in appearance for health safety and germ prevention. Jewelry, bling, crazy hair, dagger length nails....... urgent care, also waited almost 3 hours to be seen for a five minute eye infection and cost hundreds of dollars. Overall, dirty, rude, unprofessional. Also so sick of their billing department screwing things up. Time to change over to someone else for primary care. Froedtert not worth going to anymore.
Serious problems with behavioral health. Natasha is a scheduler rude. Never sendsmessages to the nurses. Again today I encountered her. She needs to be fired . My daughter is out of meds. I have been calling since last Friday. Dr. Did not call in a new RX for one of her meds. Someone needs to get thos rx to the pharmacy. An investigation needs to be done on the behavioral clinic. Nurses need to call back pall Patients quicker then the end of day. No coopoation
Terrible experience with the billing/financial office through the reproductive department. I was billed additional costs after already paying for an IVF procedure. I was never notified of the additional costs to do a fresh vs frozen transfer by my doctor or the financial office. The lack of understanding or care of their patients after an experience that is already difficult, expensive, and traumatic was so disheartening.
Would give all of froedert -100.00 if could. Behavorial health is horrible. Dr. Iqubel and doctor on call have left my daughter with no place to turn. This is a MS patient with .mental health needs. Meds will not be refilled for 8 days while she on vacation. Regarding the M S. She been shaking for over a year no help. Still waiting another 4 months to get MRI. Somebody needs to help us. This doctor on. All said go to the hospital but they dont help you. What. This This the Dr. On call for dr. Iqubel. Please help
Doesnt open according to Google hours. Those are for labs and not for walk-ins. Not sure how to change that. What complicates this further is that their OPEN sign on the building reflects the sun in the morning, making the walk-in look like its OPEN, even though its off and theyre closed. I walked in this morning hoping to get help, but got turned away. Ive been here before and when theyre open, they do great work, but I would suggest getting this hours situation resolved before I change my review.
The scheduling team at froedtert is Incompetent and Dont do a good job period. If I Were tou I Would find a Different network. They scheduled an appt for a loved one rhe next day and then we went and they hadno knowledge of us. I can not stand that dept. Dire them all and rehire competent people who enjoy giving Good customer care. This whole dept is ghetto andrude
I feel like this place severely discriminates against ALL people of color. Their whole staff is white, they talk down to me and seen them talk down to other people of color and turn around and treat white people way better. What’s worse is my wife is white so the blatant different experience is very evident. Places like this should not be able to practice medicine.
The worse lab department I have ever dealt with and I get blood drawn on a regular basis due to my RA at the labs on Town Hall rd.. Two attempts were made to get my draw done first one they had told me the orders were not in and I would need to have my primary send it after seeing my pulmonologist. (Never did she tell me I needed to make an appointment) Apparently they dont recognize their profession. Then I sent a message after I got home to my Dr office explaining my experience, she was mad and had said they were in the system well before I tried to check in for the draw and the lab shouldve taken my blood. She asked me to drive back down the 72 miles and try again, so I did then to be told I need an appointment! Maybe they should call all these patients and schedule the appointments if thats what they are requiring now! The receptionist did say they would try to squeeze me in but to come to the desk if I havent been seen in 20 minutes. So I sat down and watched three sets of patients who came after me get their labs done. Then heard these lab techs talk about their personal lives after all the while sitting there waiting. Clearly they are not busy enough. After 30 minutes I got up the same receptionist, lobby empty and stated that this was taking too long. I needed to leave so my hubby could go back to work he was sitting in the car with my grand daughter. Another receptionist got up to go back to check because at this point I told them I had waited 40 minutes and couldnt wait any longer. She said they would be right out to get me. Well after listening to the lab techs once again talk about what they were doing tonight and their personal lives another ten minutes and they took two more different people who had come in after me I walked out and said I was done trying.I sent a message with my experience to my Doctor and told her I would get my blood taken at Aurora and you get the labs from them because I no longer have faith in Froedtert.
My children and I have been patients here for quite some time now. They have many great doctors and I havent had any problems with scheduling/appointments.I have seen doctors here that act like they are better/smarter than you. Some have acted like a family member or I have made up our symptoms and nothings wrong with us. Even doctors that act like they really dont give a dam! From my experience with healthcare I have seen doctors like this almost everywhere Ive been. This isnt the only clinic with this problem. If you are uncomfortable with your doctor here or dislike the way they handle your healthcare you can always ask to switch doctors. The office staff are very helpful and can do that for you.Sometimes it takes seeing a couple doctors until you find the right one. Never feel like you have to stay with the first one you get.Overall, I recommend this clinic for children and adults.
I didnt expect to leave after my first appointment more depressed and hopeless than ever. I wont name the doctor publicly, but he was the worst. Dont think Ill be going back.Update: I called and got put back into the queue to wait for up to three weeks for someone to discuss switching doctors and then Ill have to wait at least a month after that for an appointment. Guess you better hope you love the first doctor you see.
We have had consistently good experiences at the North Hills Health Center. I appreciate the thoughtful advice that Dr Barkimer gives when dealing with my healthcare decisions.
I have been a patient here for about 6 months. I dont understand the negative reviews as I have always been treated with respect, both by reception and the doctors. When I first came to them I was in a very bad place, mental health wise. After seeing a doctor and starting therapy I am in a much better place now.Mental health is very important, please dont hesitate to call because of a few negative reviews.
The entire staff in the Reproductive Medicine Dept are super friendly and easy to work with!My husband and I met with Dr. Sandlow only to do a Sperm Aspiration procedure, as we were referred from another place we had chosen for IVF, once we arrived at Froedtert we instantly made the decision to fully transfer all upcoming procedures to the Reproductive Medicine at Froedtert. My husbands TESA procedure was quick and well done, Dr. Sandlow took the time to discuss post op information and kept in touch.I have met with Dr. Gunderson who will be overlooking the IVF procedure and she has been very helpful and informative, and her nurse Susie has been helpful informing me of any information that I need.We are still in the process of IVF and should be starting the next step for us in IVF in the next couple of weeks. I will have to do an update on the remaining procedures.
I had a terrible experience at another hospital. Here the nurses were absolutely amazing and so helpful. Dr. Bosler was so kind, she explained everything so clearly, she knows her stuff and answered every question we had even if they seemed dumb. She treated us with so much respect and did everything she could to help us go the best route that we could afford. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic.
Went to North Hills Urgent care 3 days after being diagnosed with flu. Had difficulty breathing, chest tightness, coughing and continued high fever. Was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of Dr. Brodie. Yes, it was a real MD, not a nurse practitioner or PA. Ordered labs (negative), breathing treatment (which helped) and chest x-ray. One radiologist thought the lung was not fully inflating, but the MD ran the x-ray by another more senior radiologist who determined it was the start of pneumonia. MD followed up with a personal phone call 1.5 hours after clinic closed on a Sunday. While he didnt have the most engaging personality, his thoroughness, attention to detail and follow-up were greatly appreciated. Almost 2 weeks later finally feeling better. This flu season is a bad one (even with a flu shot). I was there almost 4 hours total with an hour wait to be called (wish that part was not so long).
Staff was wonderful during my cancer surgery, before and after! Cant say enough good things about Dr Uyar and her lovely staff!!! Everyone on my team was tremendous! I never want to go anywhere else but Froedtert north or south!!!
I have 2 appointments for both my son and myself today. I received 4 reminder messages yesterday to which I replied comfirmed. Showed up 15 mins early, completed check in just to find out that the provider wasnt even there and my appointments were supposed to be rescheduled. They asked me if I could come back tomorrow. I cant because I have to take off work and my son has to take off school.Wouldnt recommend it.
Vickie Jacobs (Blonde PA with a short bob and glasses) assumed my heart rate was high because I was nervous about a drug test I had already taken. Debbie pronounced my name wrong, I corrected her and she was rude to me from then on. This visit consisted of nothing but microaggressions. If you dont want to be stereotyped dont go here for your pre placement evaluation. Melissa and the other lady at the front desk of Occ Health were very sweet and helpful.
Dr. Vikhria is a 5 star dr. Id trust him as our family pediatrician and family intern. I recommend him. He has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. My opinion is Hes not an intern for chronic conditions and diseases hes great with them except he has to heavy of a patient case load. The problem with North Hills is with the staff. The schedulers dont prioritize at all. Messages relayed to nurses and messages all the nurses relay to the Dr is given poorly, partially or not given at all, and not in context if it is. I specify who will call me back or I wait till the next visit. Theres a nurse there thats been there for a long time, she makes you tell everything and then try to play a Drs role and literally makes the Dr decision what she thinks and then tells the dr what she processed out of it so when you compare notes with the dr its completely different, not accurate with important things left out. Every Dr says the same thing about her but shes still there. It reflects on their Drs unfortunately.I had a bone and marrow biopsy separately. my hip still has pain and drainage . Requested an mri dr agreed forgot then ordered an xray. The Drs assistant with the carefree, careless additude calls me and says nothings wrong. Because a guessed test comes back not showing anything doesnt mean the symptoms or condition isnt there. When I went back to get the orthopedic referral. she suggested that I should use my chart instead of coming in to talk about conditions in person as if I come to often and dont need to. Seriously???? I have serious medical problems and you have to be seen in person for a lot of stuff. What would make her feel comfortable to say that to a Drs patient???? A lot of people obviously rather see the dr instead of using my chart. Makes me wonder!Im having a serious bleeding problem, Im having to wait till next week. Ill see what happens and comes of it and come back to edit.
Really not too fond of this place so I am working on finding a new one. The only good thing about this location was a dr. Sands and he moved away (and good for him!). The thing that really annoys me about this place is that they act like the drs. Here are celebrities or something and we a pressured to make appointments we cant for sure keep because they legit tell you if you dont make one, you may not get one because the dr. Will be booked out into next year. In all my years going back and forth to drs for my issues I have never had receptionists act this way about their drs. Its incredible really. So because Im an adult and I work, I tell them to just give me a few days to get my new schedule so I can set up an appointment accordingly, and I am always hit with well you should schedule now. This dr is really good and is booked up to next year. Which is clearly not true if they want me to schedule something for next week...and if you do have to cancel, I was legit told by a physician that they will discharge me as a patient because they dont have time to deal with cancellations because they are so popular and are booked for years. Lol then they try to tell you all hospitals are like that-they are not. Dont believe them. Other hospitals are actually focused on helping people. Urgent care is a joke. I went there is extreme pain, was told by the Dr. That she didnt know why I was hurting and instead of trying to figure it out like a normal urgent care or ER, she discharged me and told me to go to walgreens and get some tylenol. I went to another hospital and saw a dr who wasnt even urgent care, his specialty was ear nose and throat care, and he immeadiately new what was wrong and got me feeling better. Btw, my issue had nothing to do with my ears nose or throat yet he knew right away...I always thought ER/urgent drs. Were trained across the board to help everything in the moment but not at this clinic! They solve things by saying, I dont know, go buy tylenol. Its great that they found a gig where they can do the bare minimum to help people and or pretend they are far to busy to help people when it is literally their only job and get paid handsomely.
This rating doesnt deserve a star. BEWARE of using the Urgent Care Clinics within Froedtert Health. I had the unfortunate experience of using this clinic and was hit with the full cost because the provider that I saw on this particular visit was NOT CONTRACTED with my United Healthcare Insurance. Yes, I failed to check with my plan if the provider was in network but on the other hand, I didnt know who I was seeing until I was already in the room. Urgent care providers are just randomly SCHEDULED in clinic and can come from ANYWHERE. I have learned that you cant always depend on this healthcare system for all my healthcare needs, thanks Froedtert.
Generally, I like the clinic. But theyre using covid as an excuse to save money and provide less convenient services for the patients. I e, this morning I called to make an appointment and they put me on hold for 20 minutes.
After scheduling an appointment with them and after checking in at the hospital waiting for an EMG to be performed, I was told that the EMG specialist left for the day and I was told to reschedule after waiting there for an hour. I had taken half day off at work (loss of pay)and now I need another half day to go for an EMG. This is worst experience totally.I am giving a 3 star rating as the supervisor was very responsive and helped me get an appointment which would work with my schedule.
Clinic here is a disaster. Do your own research before they give you waste of time repeat tests for billings or they will take advantage of your situation.
I love Froedtert Health Care, but I will have to say..I had the worst experience ever tonight. If I ever have to go into a urget care I will rethink about returning to North Hills. I would be afraid that I or one of my family members would get a the same PA Doctor I had. The PA doctor that I saw had the worst bedside manners ever. I left very upset.
So, all I have to say is. If your looking for an AWSOME DR. Dr.Arneson (Michelle Arneson) IS THE BEST HUMAN hands down, please go and see for yourself I’m not just saying this !!!! I knew when I watched her video on the froedtert website that she actually cared for her patients health and well being as much as we do ourselves and probably more ! I absolutely recommend her if you are looking for a great Primary Dr. she’s a Gem 💎 I don’t mind sharing cause she is THAT AWSOME . Thankful to have her as my care provider 👏🏼!!
We are quite disappointed not only with the therapist, but her director, as well. If you truly care about the mental health of a loved one, or yourself, please seek help elsewhere.
Always “short of staff.” Waiting for more than 2 to 3 hours. IF WE ALL WANTED TO WAIT THIS LONG, MY FAMILY AND I COULDVE JUST WENT TO THE ER! We choose this location due to the location being closer to home, and also have been coming here for years.. but now it’s a just terrible. This and other issues especially from other comments below that I agre with.. needs to be addressed, or you guys should just close this location down already. Nurses walking and just having very long and loud conversations as if there aren’t people and families waiting to be seen for medical care.
Im on my 5th doctor in 3 years. Makes you wonder why they keep leaving? The appointment desk employees are always rude. I really wish we had another option under our insurance.
The soonest I could get an appointment with an MD was 8 weeks out. I went with an APNP but there was still a 6 week wait. The time that I confirmed with the person on the phone was NOT the actual time they scheduled me for! I wish I had noticed the discrepancy sooner. You guessed it, another 4+ week wait for a another appointment.
Betsy beck is an amazing provider and I highly recommend her. She took time to establish care and really listened to my concerns and recommended good tests and follow-up care.
I have had such an awful experience at North Hills Medical Center. I called to see if I could have my medication increased because of chronic back pain and the North Hills Medical Center employees told the guard I wanted to kill myself. They were about to take me to the Mental Heslth Center. Terrible experience...scared me out of my wits.
My son saw a therapist and a psychiatrist up at this clinic. They did nothing for him. He had many delusions and had psychosis. He ended up committing suicide on November 27th, 2016. Dont go there.
I give it a one star now because I been going through the same thing others are going through... My doctor have left been with her for over 6 plus years...found a new one then they left...now I cant get my meds.until I found a new one....I was never told this before my meds. ran out...
Cancelled my 830 appt at 809. No other appointments for a week.
I went to this urgent care for anxiety and panic attack and the doctor that saw me, Gregory brotzmam, didnt listen to me and made me feel like I shouldnt have gone and told me the er wouldnt help me either. Feel worse than before I went in.
If Penny answers the line when you need a covid test just ask for someone else. This lady is the least helpful person I have ever dealt with concerning healthcare.
Staff is nice and professional. But the wait time in urgent care even with no one in waiting room has been 2 hours.. Ridiculous
I love going this this urgent care facility its close to home, the medical assistant, and doctors are all very knowledgeable, caring, and the wait time isnt long at all!
I was here for labs. They were polite and fast. I was in and out with in 15 minutes.
Lovely facility! The staff were all so kind and lovely.
Nothing but good experiences. We go there for different Doctors. Highly recommended.
Convenient urgent care location with early morning and late evening hours.
This place is amazing. Dr. Levine and her staff are remarkable.
Always willing to help you..
A long time client, great selection of doctors!
Always very caring and helpful!
